Geographical Information Systems laboratory
The School has a public access 40 PC computing laboratory that runs ArcGIS 9.X software and there is a group of researchers and postgraduate students who have extensive GIS expertise. The hardware includes an A0 digitising table, scanners and colour printers. We also have a range of software for quantitative and qualitative data analysis (e.g. Nud*ist, SPSS, Minitab, MapInfo, SpaceStat plus databases and spread sheets).
