The first year geographers (GG1001) took their second field class of the semester to Dundee on Saturday 13th of October.
They travelled around the city and completed group ethnographic field work focusing on urban modeling and socio-economic processes of change. They also learned the importance of reflexivity as a central tenet of any piece of research. The photographs below show some of the class overlooking the city at the Dundee Law.
Students returned to the classroom last week to supplement their field study with GIS mapping and census data analysis
