Policy Press has published a new book: Social Justice and Social Policy in Scotland. Edited by Dr Gerry Mooney and Prof. Gill Scott it offers a critical assessment of social policy in Scotland, a decade after the introduction of devolution.
Covering a diverse range of topics including income inequalities, work and welfare, criminal justice, housing, education, health and poverty, each chapter reflects upon the book’s key themes of social inequality and social justice. Chapter 13 on Social Housing and Homelessness Policies: reconciling social justice and social mix, is co-authored by Dr Kim McKee (University of St Andrews).
