Fun with Olympic medal cartogram

CGI Research Fellow Carson Farmer has put together a simple graphic of London 2012 Summer Olympic medal tallies using a rubber-sheet cartogram. Carson’s graphic is inspired by the dynamic world medal map on The Telegraph Olympic coverage website. The graphic should be updated on a relatively regular basis, so be sure to check back as team GP continues to climb towards their 48 medal target!
