The latest installment of the Film Festival Yearbook was published this week. Film Festivals and Activism is edited by Dina Iordanova and Leshu Torchin and explores the complex interrelations between film festivals and various activist causes.

Dr Elisabetta Girelli publication news
We are delighted to announce that Dr Girelli's essay on filmic representations of the spy Guy Burgess has been accepted for publication in the Journal of European Popular Culture 2:2 (appearing later this year). And it's our understanding that one of these representations was filmed in Dundee!
The latest book from St Andrews Film Studies was published this week. Digital Disruption: Cinema Moves On-line is edited by Dina Iordanova and Stuart Cunningham and offers the first, in-depth scholarly examination of the effects that digital technologies and the Internet are having on film dissemination.
