Festivals Celebrate New Book

Dina Iordanova and Ruby Cheung's new book 'Film Festivals and East Asia' is being launched with a special event at the Jeonju International Film Festival in South Korea on 2 May 2011. It is also featured in the context of Udine's Far East Film Festival in Italy this week.

A group of St Andrews students are preparing to fly out to Nepal shortly to make a film about a unique group of religious devotees. They have arranged to spend a month filming the daily lives and rituals of Tibetan Buddhist nuns at two nunneries in Nepal.

Dina Iordanova was Guest Professor at the Erasmus MATHILDE/MA in History of European Women and Feminism, taught by an international consortium including CEU, University of Lille (France) and the University of Sofia (Bulgaria).
