The fourth annual Postgraduate Study Day will explore the topic of Music in Film. We will welcome Professor Richard Dyer to speak on the subject.

Third Scottish Consortium of Film and Visual Studies.

The third Scottish Consortium of Film and Visual Studies will be hosted by the Centre for Film Studies, University of St Andrews. The focus will be International Film Festivals. The event will take place in the Fairmont Hotel, overlooking the St Andrews Bay. Keynote speakers include Professor Toby Miller, University of California and Henning Camre, Copenhagen Think Tank on European Film.

On 11th May 2010 Film Studies holds its 5th Annual PG Conference, organised by Matthew Holtmeier and Frederik Gustafsson, and featuring a talk by visiting speaker Professor Martine Beugnet (University of Edinburgh).

Matt Sienkiewicz, Emmy-nominated screenwriter and documentarian, and PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin, discusses his film Live From Bethlehem.
