Margaux Elizabeth Whiskin
Education and Experience
In 2005, Margaux graduated from La Sorbonne in France, where she studied Comparative Literature. She completed her Masters there in 2007, and wrote her dissertation on French and English poetry of the First World War. Her PhD research topic also belongs to the field of Comparative Literature. Dr Tom Jones from the School of English and Dr D. J. Culpin from the Modern Language Department jointly supervise her thesis, which explores the expression of philosophical concepts through narrative techniques in Tristam Shandy by Sterne and Jacques le Fataliste by Diderot.
