Chera Cole

Education and Experience

Chera holds a BA (Hons) in English and History from Oklahoma Baptist University and an MLitt (Distinction) in Mediaeval English from University of St Andrews. Her PhD thesis is titled ‘Fairy in Medieval English and Scottish Literature’. In this thesis she will examine the medieval concept of fairy, and how this idea of ‘fairy’ is exploited in medieval texts, primarily romances. Her particular interest is the relationship between the medieval supernatural and the medieval Christian worldview.
