Ms Kathleen Jamie

Education and Experience

Kathleen Jamie's most recent collection of poetry, The Tree House (Picador, 2004) won both the Forward Prize and the Scottish Book of the Year Award. Her selected poems, Mr and Mrs Scotland Are Dead (Bloodaxe, 2002) was shortlisted for the Griffin International Poetry Prize. Her non-fiction includes Findings (Sort of Books, 2005) and she has written a travel book about Northern Pakistan entitled Among Muslims. Kathleen also writes for radio.

Research Interests

Kathleen enjoys going to theatres, hills, islands and art galleries. And she reads books. She dislikes sport, shellfish and classical music.
