Edinburgh sets stage for policy and practice change with two new literature reviews
Wednesday 28 July 2010
The 'Engaging with Involuntary Service Users in Social Work' project at the University of Edinburgh ran its second sharing seminar in June. Academics and local authority social workers came together to exchange knowledge and ideas around this challenging issue. Much of the dialogue was based around two new literature reviews launched on the day. One of these examines the history and context of user involvement in social work, the other summarises research on children's and parents' participation in social work decision-making (both available to download from www.socialwork.ed.ac.uk/esla/resources/publications).
