You must have at least 3 years experience in the area of organic chemistry, experience in microwave synthesis and in transition metal mediated reactions, and you must hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry.
The position will involve conducting synthetic, catalytic and characterization experiments on organometallic complexes. The duties will include the synthesis and full characterization of these reactions using modern analytical techniques including NMR, IR and X-Ray spectroscopic studies. A detailed CV including experience and publication list highlighting your experience in synthesis and catalysis is required.
These are initially for a period of one year, starting 5 January 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter with the possibility of an extension for a second year.
