10-week accommodation
Students on the 10-week course can apply to live in University accommodation. Where possible, Student Accommodation Services (SAS) will try to accommodate you in the same room for the duration of both the pre-sessional course and your degree programme.
Students whose families plan to accompany them to St Andrews must make arrangements directly with the Student Accommodation Services (SAS).
Go to the SAS website where you will find information on:
- how to apply
- residence facilities
- accommodation options available for married couples and families.
When you fill in the application, you must ensure that you check the box for 10-week Pre-sessional.
Private accommodation
If you do not want to accept the offer of residential accommodation, please be aware that you are responsible for finding accommodation for the duration of the course. Unfortunately, ELT cannot assist you in finding private accommodation before or during the course.
St Andrews is very busy during the summer months, and it may be difficult to find an affordable private room or flat.
If you decide that you would prefer to arrange private accommodation for yourself or your family, we recommend that you look at the properties available on StudentPad.
Please note that:
- the tution fees do not include accommodation fees. SAS will inform you of costs and payment methods.
