Materials for Thought Workshop

ELT is pleased to announce our fourth EAP workshop will be held in St Andrews on Saturday 02 March 2013.
We invite presentations on materials development in areas such as:
- Authentic listening
- Incorporating pronunciation
- Liaising with academic schools
- Being an insider – EAP tutor attending lectures with students
- Needs analysis in materials development
- Cross-cultural studies
- Academic literacies
- English for Specific Academic Purposes.
Presentations can take the form of:
- Papers – 45 minutes including questions
- Presentation of materials in use/in preparation – 30 minutes
- Posters
If you would like to present, please email an abstract of around 300 words to Kerry Tavakoli, Workshop Facilitator.
The deadline for abstracts is 18 January 2013.
