The Centre for International Foundation Programmes celebrates St Valentine's Day

Students at the CIFP celebrated St Valentine's by organising a secret post service. Undergraduate Social Science and Law foundation students, Alisa Prokhorova (left), and Dar'Ya Smirnova (far right) organised publicity for the event and made a box for students to anonymously post their letters.
Alisa said, 'We wanted to do something good for everyone, to encourage positive communication. Some people sent letters to friends to tell them how much they care, and some students even sent notes to staff to thank them for being good teachers!'
Over 40 items, including gifts, poems and postcards, were distributed this morning to delighted staff and students.
