The third workshop, 'Creativity and EAP' will be held at ELT on Saturday 19 February 2011, 09.30 - 16.30. The theme of this year's workshop is on creativity and how/or whether a more creative approach would improve learning and motivation in EAP classrooms.
- Would the incorporation of more linguistically creative tasks and activities into EAP skills lessons increase students' motivation and be more beneficial for learning outcomes?
- Can creative thinking promote critical thinking?
These are just some of the areas that the workshop sessions will be considering. At the workshop there will be the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions linked to this theme as well as discussing some of these challenges with other EAP practioners. There will also be a small publishers' exhibition with a display of the latest EAP materials and examinations at the workshop.
