How to pay fees
Payment can be made by the following methods:
- Credit card - Visa or Mastercard (not Visa Electron)
- International bank transfer
Please note that all fees set by the University are subject to change.
Information for visa applicants
Due to changes in immigration rules regarding Financial Evidence/Maintenance, introduced by the UKBA in April 2012, we strongly recommend that you do not pay more than your deposit until you have received your CAS number and have been successful in your visa application.
After you have received your visa, you should pay the balance of your fees.
Credit card
You can make a pre-payment (deposit) or pay the balance of your fees by credit card by going to:
-
Pre-payments (deposits)
Choose the relevant foundation programme or pre-sessional pre-payment option as shown below to pay a deposit.
-
Balance of fees
Choose the miscellaneous option to pay the full balance of your pre-sessional course or foundation programme fees.
International bank transfer
The University has partnered with Western Union to allow students to securely send international wire transfers for payment of fees in their local currency. Please complete the online form to make your payment.
Accurate information will ensure that the funds you transfer are allocated promptly to the correct student account at the University of St Andrews. If you are paying on behalf of a student, you will also be required to complete your information.
