Pre-arrival
Before you arrive in St Andrews, read the following information carefully and complete each of the following tasks.
1. Online tasks
We have now sent a welcome email to all incoming foundation students for January 2012 with instructions on how to:
- activate your University email account
- complete the Online Matriculation - 'registration' - process
- upload a photo for your student identity (ID) card
The email contains specific information such as your computer account username and links to University systems which you will need in order to complete the tasks.
If you used the address of an educational agent or representative, contact them as soon as possible to get the information you need to start your tasks.

2. Medical registration forms
Staff will help you to register with a doctor at Matriculation. Download the registration form and questionnaire, and bring the completed forms with you to Orientation:

3. Airport transfer form
If you have not already done so, complete the form and send it back to CIFP immediately. Please note that the University will be closed over the Winter Vacation (23 December 2011 - 03 January 2012). Staff will not be able to process requests during this period.

We will confirm by email that your taxi has been booked.
4. Accommodation
CIFP will confirm your accommodation details by email no later than 21 December.
If you applied for accommodation before the deadline in your offer letter, you are guaranteed a room in a hall of residence. However, we will not receive confirmation of room allocations before the date above.
5. When you arrive in St Andrews
When you check in to your residence, you will find bedding and a welcome pack from CIFP. Read the information in the welcome pack carefully as it will tell you where and when to report for Orientation, as well as who to contact if you have any difficulties.
