YU-LIN completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Quantitative Finance (double major) at the National Tsing Hua University in 2007. She graduated with outstanding score, ranking first in her class and winning the Academic Achievement Award of National Tsing Hua University five times. In 2009, she obtained a Master's degree in Finance from the National Taiwan University and she studied "Industry Relatedness and Knowledge Flows within Alliances" in her dissertation. Before joining the University of St Andrews in 2011, YU-LIN mainly worked in the Center for Technology Policy and Industry Development of the National Taiwan University. She had abundant research experiences and published around ten articles in magazines and journals. One of her research, Relationship between the Self-organization and Economics, won an Excellent Essay Award of the Chinese Technology Development Library in 2006. |
