Research Interests

Dr Barbopoulos' main research interests lie primarily in the fields of Applied Time Series Econometrics, Asset Pricing, and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Research in the field of Applied Time Series Econometrics concentrates on the limited distribution theory for stationary and non-stationary time series, particularly in cases of single or serial time-breaks in the innovation variance. Research in the field of FDI focuses primarily on the effects of dynamic structure of macroeconomic variables on the performance and direction of FDI. Other research interests concentrate on the theory of value ambiguity and asset pricing.
