Paola and Marco are organising a 'Micro reading group'. This is an informal gathering where people can present their work and discuss without the constraints of a regular seminar. For example, one may present preliminary material, or focus especially on one particular aspect of a paper (e.g. a proof). One might also present somebody else's work for discussion, or give an overview of one's field. In other words, the philosophy is that the owner of a slot is free to use it as he or she likes.

Meetings are in S12 at 4.00p.m. and are meant to be approximately fortnightly, with the addition of occasional external spekers who are nearby or visiting the department.

There is an upper bound of 1.30 hours on duration and no lower bound.

While the focus is on Micro (including experimental economics), everybody is welcome. The current schedule is below (note we still have a free slot, suggestions welcome).

17th October Luca Savorelli 'Addictions'
31st October Collin Raymond (Oxford) 'Revealed Search Theory'
14th November Theo Diasakos TBA
5th December Yorgos Gerasimou Choice, Deferral and Consistency: Theory and Experimental Evidence

All welcome!
