Qualifications
The likely minimum grades required for entry to the School of Economics and
Finance are AAAB at Scottish Higher, AAA at A-level, and 38 points in the
International Baccalaureate. No minimum entry grades for other equivalent
qualifications are published. Actual offers may be higher or lower than
those stated here. Note that achieving these minimum grades (or predictions
of achieving these grades) does not guarantee that an applicant will receive
an offer. Entry is highly competitive and many excellent applicants are
inevitably rejected due to the limited number of places available. The
personal statement and school reference presented in the UCAS form are also
important considerations in the offer making process.
