Hall Committees

Hall committees provide a representative body for the students of the hall; organise events for the hall including the annual ball (other events left to the discretion of the committee); and, ensure the smooth running of the hall. The committee is chaired by a senior student, who is chiefly responsible for co-operation between the Warden and the residents.

Each Spring, an election is held for the positions of senior student, a deputy senior student, secretary, treasurer and ball convener for the following academic year (see below for next years committee). Towards the beginning of the Martinmas term, the committees seek additional appointments including Charities Rep, Environmental Rep, Sports Rep and Ordinary Committee Members. Students are encouraged to join the committee or assist at the various functions; there are opportunities for everyone! Being on the committee is a great way to get involved with hall life.
