10 March 2010 - Damage to Activities Room Pool Table
It was brought to my attention this morning that the pool table in the activities room has been the subject of vandalism (Pool_Table_Damage (PDF, 342 KB)). If anyone has any information on how this happened or who is responsible, please contact the Duty Assistant Warden (x7103; drafp.aw@st-andrews.ac.uk).

22 November 2009 - Raisin Sunday Information
If you are planning on having a party in hall over Raisin Weekend it is imperative that you submit your party request from no later than Friday 21 November. Only authorised parties will be allowed over this weekend and anyone hosting an unauthorised party will have their party stopped and may be subject to discipline under the University Discipline Code.
Party request forms can be obtained at Reception, the Warden¿s Office or downloaded from the hall website (http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/drafp/thewardenialteam/).
Remember, the Wardenial Team will be on duty throughout Raisin Weekend so if you require any assistance or advice during this time then please call us on 7103 from your internal phone or 01334-427103 from your mobile.
Also, we will be giving out free teas and coffees, sandwiches and muffins throughout the day on Raisin Sunday so pop down and say hi and grab some free food!
As normal, we will be showing a selection of movies throughout Raisin Sunday in the Nisbet Room:
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - 12noon
- Cloverfield - 3pm
- The Matrix - 6pm
- Star Trek - 9pm

On Thursday 19 November & Thursday 10 December 2009, Fife Constabulary University Liaison Officer and Community Safety Officer will be at the Students Union Foyer to carry out FREE security marking of bicycles and mobile telephones.
Also, bicycle locks supplied by St Andrews & District Community Safety Panel will be on sale for £3.00.

The Bistro will be open for study from 7pm to 1am on Sundays through to Thursdays and from 7pm to 12am on Fridays and Saturdays during the revision and exam period (until May 27th 2009).

Meebo Chat
A new service has been launched in hall that will allow you to speak with the Duty Assistant Warden online and in confidence. This service will be available each evening between 7pm and 8pm and will be completely confidential - whatever you type will only be available to the Wardenial Team and not to other users of the service. This service can be accessed at Duty AW Meebo Page.
Sunday Night at the Movies
We will be continuing Sunday Night at the Movies with a new program of films suggested by you and chosen by the assistant wardens. Posters and full details will be available later this week on the events page. If there are any movies that you would like us to show then please email the Duty Assistant Warden, or talk to any of the team in person.

February looks like being quite a busy month for everyone in hall. The DRA Pub Quiz has restarted on Monday nights and we have some special events taking place over the next few weeks:

DRAFP Raisin Sunday Snowman Contest Winners .... Rachel Gowing (FP) and Lorcan Morgan (DRA).

As with all the contests this year, the standard of entry was very high and the job of judging an outright winner a hard one. Both Rachel and Lorcan have won meals for themselves and their housemates (with complimentary sparkling wine). All other photo submissions will receive a bottle of bubbly to share with their fellow snow person builders. All other snowmen, snowwomen, snowchildren and snowcreatures can be viewed below.

The DRAFP Martinmas Ceilidh was a huge success and continued the hall tradition of great ceilidhs started in previous years. Whisky tasting, Scottish fruit wines from Cairn'o'Mohr, and music by the Willie Simpson Scottish Dance Band! What a night!

After a lot of deliberation within the Wardenial Team it was decided that the winning entry - and winner of the iPod - belonged to Jon Constable from Fife Park. We would like to thank all the entrants of this competition for their effort and creativity. It was a shame that there could be only one winner.

Meeting to discuss Fife Park plans

This is a meeting to discuss proposals for the redevelopment of Fife Park. Indicative plans will be on display in the Nisbet Room which you may wish to look at prior to the meeting.
Additional information may be circulated on the afternoon prior to this meeting, depending on availability.
