Residential, Full-Time Study
The School of Divinity offers taught MLitt (and PGDip) programmes in five subject areas:
- Bible and the Contemporary World
- Biblical Languages and Literature
- Scripture and Theology
- Systematic and Historical Theology
- Theology, Imagination and the Arts (ITIA)
These all commence in the autumn of each academic year and conclude with the submission of a 15,000 word dissertation by 31st August the following year.
Weekly classes are held featuring both lectures and discussions, regular attendance is expected.
For many students the MLitt is a preparation for doctoral studies but applications are also welcome from those seeking this degree not as a stepping stone, but as a significant contribution to their own personal and professional development.
