Is it for me?

A very wide range of people participate in this programme. Many have a voluntary leadership role in a Christian congregation but only around one third are clergy. Seeing the modules as a way of personal development is important to those whose professional life is their significant sphere of Christian vocation.

The student body (past and present) includes, amongst others, a management consultant, an author, an HIV/AIDS health worker, a banker, a financial services consultant, a university administrator, a street pastor, a teacher, a stained-glass conservationist, an engineer, a retired airline pilot and clergy from a variety of denominations.

One or two of our students are retired from their profession but the vast majority are in full-time employment. The age range is from late 20s to late 60s. Around one-third are women.

Participants in the programme have come from the USA, Canada, Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, and the West Indies. The denominational profile includes Presbyterians, Roman Catholics, Baptists, Independents, a Quaker, a Methodist and Anglicans.

Applications are currently open for entry in either September 2013 or January 2014. These are considered upon receipt of all your paperwork in order that we might give you a prompt decision. Closing date for September 2013 entry is 1st July 2013; for January 2014 entry is 1st November 2013.
