Fees
The tuition fees for modules taken during the academic year 2013-2014. (This page is for guidance only, the definitive information on fees should be consulted for any changes.)
Home/EU students: £1, 310 for one taught module. £1, 970 for the dissertation (MLitt) module.
Overseas students: £3, 445 for one taught module. £5, 165 for the dissertation (MLitt) module.
Students undertaking the PGDiploma do three taught modules. Those undertaking the MLitt do three taught modules + a dissertation module (a fourth module). Applications are also welcome from those wishing to do just one module (non-graduating).
These are the fees that shall apply to those beginning the programme in Autumn 2013 or January 2014 and depend on modules being taken contiguously.
These figures cover the costs of all teaching and assessment, but do not include costs of accommodation for the residential courses.
The University offers a variety of payment methods including some by instalment.
Financial Support
ILA Funding - Students resident in Scotland with a personal earned (or pension) income of £22,000 or less can apply for an . As each of the modules on this programme is rated at 40 credits eligible students can apply for the £500 scheme. The ILA information on our programme eligibility is available here.
