The annual tuition fees for modules taken during the academic year 2011-2012. (This page is for guidance only, the definitive information on fees should be consulted for any changes.)
M.Litt.
£ 2, 575 for home students (UK or EU)
£ 6, 775 for overseas students
Postgraduate Diploma
One full annual fee then half the following annual fee (your programme takes 18 months).
Individual Module
One half of the appropriate annual fee.
These are annual fees. For the M.Litt. this means three taught modules + dissertation; for the Postgraduate Diploma this means three taught modules.
These are the fees that shall apply to those beginning the programme in Autumn 2011 or February 2012 and depend on modules being taken contiguously.
These figures cover the costs of all teaching and assessment, but do not include costs of accommodation for the residential courses.
The University offers a variety of payment methods including some by instalment.
Financial Support
ILA Funding - Students resident in Scotland with a personal earned (or pension) income of £22,000 or less can apply for an Individual Learning Account. As each of the modules on this programme is rated at 40 credits eligible students can apply for the £500 scheme. The ILA information on our programme eligibility is available here.
