St Andrews students are the most satisfied in the UK, according to a national survey published today (Wednesday 18 August 2010).
The National Student Survey 2010 has named Scotland’s first university as one of the country’s leading multi-faculty universities.
It is the fifth year in succession that St Andrews has led the independent national survey which measures how satisfied students are with the quality of their higher education experience. St Andrews shares top spot this year with the University of Oxford.
The NSS also ranks individual departments and academic schools within universities. Divinity and Geology at St Andrews were named top in the UK.
St Andrews School of Medicine, which has recently moved to a new £45 million purpose built medical sciences building on North Haugh, was named top UK medical school for student satisfaction.
