The conference marks the launch of Atonement described by G. Hunsinger of Princeton as “a towering work that deserves to be read throughout the ecumenical churches”. Atonement is volume 2 of Torrance’s student lectures and covers the person and work of Jesus, the coming of the Spirit and the doctrine of the church.
Speakers include renowned author and theologian Dr Gary Deddo, editor IVP USA and Prof Ivor Davidson, Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology, University of St Andrews. Rev David Randall will also give a brief reminiscence and the editor Robert T. Walker a talk on the lectures.
The registration fee of £25 (students £20) includes a complimentary copy of the book (550pp HB), morning coffee sandwich lunch and light refreshments. The conference is followed by a wine reception and formal book launch at 4.30pm.
