'Theology in Scotland'
Sunday 08 February 2009
The latest issue of the journal Theology in Scotland (sponsored by St Mary's College) features a variety of papers on Holy Communion in the Scottish context.
The papers, by authors including Prof Donald Macleod, Rev Dr Gilleasbuig Macmillan and Rev Dr Henry Sefton, cover historical topics such as the evolution of Eucharistic practice in Scotland and an examination of the place of the Lord's Supper in the Highland tradition, as well as studies on current thinking on Holy Communion in the Reformed tradition and on the form of the Communion service, along with reflections on the sacrament from ministers working in very different kinds of parishes.
