The Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) is a unique, international, membership-based organisation with many active members, fellows and associates worldwide. CSEAR’s international network supports students, practitioners, scholars and educationalists in all aspects of the education, research and practice of social, environmental and sustainability accounting, reporting, auditing, finance and taxation

The Centre was established in 1991 and based at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, since 2004. CSEAR offers many benefits to new members. Non-members are charged full costs.
