Single Honours degrees

  • Greek
  • Classics (includes the study of both Latin and Greek)

Joint Honours degrees

Greek may be studied jointly with Ancient History, Art History, Biblical Studies, Classical Studies, Comparative Literature, English, French(W), Hebrew, Italian(W), New Testament, Philosophy or Spanish(W).

Other degrees

Greek first and second level modules may be studied as part of a General Degree, or to complement honours degrees in other subjects.

It is also possible to study Greek in combination with two Modern Languages, all available With Integrated Year Abroad. Any two of the following languages may be read in conjunction with Greek: French, German (only for non-beginners in German), Italian, Spanish.

No previous knowledge of greek is required. Allocation to First level modules in Greek is made in accordance with linguistic competence at the time of enrolment.
