Fees
The annual tuition fees for postgraduate programmes in the School of Classics can be found on the University's fees page. Guidance on who may qualify
for Home Fee status may be found in the

Funding Opportunities
No application for funding will be considered until a place on the programme has been offered. Interested candidates should therefore make application for a place on a postgraduate programme as soon as possible.
The School of Classics has no funding for Postgraduate studies from the AHRC.

Masters students

- The University has one Carnegie-Cameron Taught Post-graduate Bursary for one year Masters' students. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a Scottish connection. The closing date for applications for 2011 was 25th April 2011. It is assumed that a similar deadline will apply for 2012. More details >>
- Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships may be awarded to students from Canada, China, India or the USA intending to pursue a one year Masters course in a Scottish University. The closing date for 2011 was 17th June 2011. It is assumed that a similar deadline will apply for 2012.

You may also have access to funding from local sources, including your national funding body if you are from overseas.
Travel and Research Costs
The School of Classics makes grants to full-time and part-time postgraduates for
- photocopying and inter-library loan costs
- conferences and research travel
- other research costs.
