Security and working out of hours

In the interests of safety and security please can you close all open windows, switch off lights and lock your offices/kitchens/class library after use.
The lights to the main stairwell of Swallowgate and Craigard should be left switched on 24/7 as a means to give a little illumination in hours of darkness.
In the event of an emergency, individuals in the building outwith normal hours can contact the university's 'Out of Hours' service, as outlined on http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/contacts/emergency/university/outofhours/
Accident Reporting

All accidents should be reported to the School safety coordinator.Accidents include 'near misses' as well as significant accidents, injuries, fires etc.
To report an accident, please use the Accident/Dangerous Occurrence/Near Miss Report Form (Word, 42 KB).
Completed forms should be returned to the School safety coordinator, or in their absence the Head of School.

The new assembly point is now the car park of MUSA (Museum of the University of St Andrews) 7a The Scores.
School noticeboards

The current open noticeboards have to be strictly managed:
- No posters may be displayed outside the notice board edges.
- All posters must be secured with pins in each corner. ie no flapping papers.
Drawing Pins are available from the stationery cupboard (S7) or from staff in (S5).
