Floods
Floods must be stopped promptly as they can cause a risk of electrocution, power cuts, expensive damage to safety systems and lab equipment, and irreplaceable damage to experimental work.
Flood - normal hours
- Call janitors on 3777 (internal) or 01334 463777 from mobile or John Smith on extension 3696.
- If it is safe to do so then you should investigate the cause of the flood and if possible isolate the source of the problem.
Flood - outwith normal hours
- Call out-of-hours janitors on 3985 (internal) or 01334 463985 from mobile.
- If it is safe to do so then you should investigate the cause of the flood and if possible isolate the source of the problem.
