Room bookings 2012-2013
Room booking requests are dealt with on a semester by semester basis. If you have a regular booking you will need to re-confirm it at the start of each semester subject to the status of your society. Priorities for 1st Semester room bookings will take place as follows;
- Faith Societies – Can provisionally book rooms for the 1st Semester 2012/2013 from June 2012

Value Groups & Culture Groups – Can provisionally submit room booking requests from Monday 19 September 2012

Other Groups – Can apply on the Monday of the week they would like to book
Mansefield booking rules
It is compulsory for all members of the Society to sign the new “Building Rules Agreement” to declare that they have read and understood and will abide by the Chaplaincy, Mansefield Rules of the Building. This document must be signed and submitted to the Chaplaincy secretaries before any confirmed bookings will be made.
Faith, Value and Culture Societies who book provisionally over the summer via email will be required to send a representative to the Chaplaincy Reception on Monday 19 September 2012 (Monday of Fresher's Week) to submit the signed “Building Rules Agreement” to ensure bookings are confirmed and your events be permitted to proceed.
Kitchen Facilities: Like all other rooms in the Building the Kitchen must be booked through the chaplaincy office. The Rules of advance booking apply as with all other rooms.
Building Use and Access: Access in the evening is permitted to those attending booked events or the Prayers Rooms only. Nobody should be in the building after the hours of 11 p.m. due to security concerns.The building is frequently checked by University Security in the evening however if you have concerns please contact the Out of Hours Emergency Number 01334 476161 or internal 1212
