When You Pray ...
A series of experimential evenings exploring prayer co-hosted by University Chaplaincy and Canmore Catholic Chaplaincy. Including ways of praying with scripture; praying with icons; music, movement and body prayer; fantasy prayer; healing touch.
Who can Participate?
These evenings of prayer are open to all. No particular familiarity with prayer or faith experience is needed or expected. So, whether you're already familiar with different ways of praying or if you're simply interested in finding out more, please feel free to come along. All are welcome.
What can I expect?
To learn something new about ways of praying, to try in your own life and to meet other people who want to explore how to pray.
Where does it take place?
All meetings will take place at Canmore Catholic Chaplaincy, The Scores
First meeting: Ash Wednesday 13 February 2013 at 8:30 pm. Thereafter, four Thursdays 21, 28 February and 7, 14 March at 7:30 pm
How can I sign up and how much does it cost?
The cost for the whole course if £10 for Students and £20 for Staff. Sign up slips are available from Chaplaincy office, all slips with payment should be made submitted to the Chaplaincy office by Friday 1 February 2013. Please made cheques payable to the 'University of St Andrews'.
