About
Michal is a postdoctoral research fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford and research affiliate in the CDMA. He has a doctorate from the University of St Andrews (2008). He is a graduate of Comenius University Bratislava, Slovakia (2002) and University of York (2003). He previously worked as a research assistant and consultant in the Slovak branch of ING Barings and in the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic, where he advised the State Secretary and led a small research unit. He has done consultation work for the World Bank and served as an adviser to the Slovak finance minister.
Research Michal has been working on models of fiscal-monetary interactions in a stochastic dynamic general equilibrium framework
