About
Ansgar has studied economics at the Otto-von-Guericke Magdeburg and at the University of Edinburgh. He has previously worked at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) in Berlin during a summer intern.
Teaching
EC1001: Macroeconomics
Research
Ansgar's research is focused on the long-run effects of monetary policy and demand shocks on total factor productivity growth through capital stock changes, and thus on the wage firms are willing to pay in the long run and the natural rate of unemployment.
