ABC News
- Unpaid semester internships in Washington D.C. or New York City for students at Junior Level and above. Students must receive academic credit.
- The Washington bureau of ABC News offers internships with Good Morning America, Nightline, Owned Stations, the Political Unit, News Graphics, ABC News Radio, This Week With George Stephanopoulos, and World News Tonight with Peter Jennings.
The Alfa Fellowship
- Places participants at Russian organizations in the fields of business, economics, journalism, law, public policy, and government
- Must be U.S. citizen
- Applicants should have a graduate degree and at least two years relevant work experience in their field of expertise; also a knowledge of at least beginning Russian is necessary

Alfred Friendly Press Fellowhips
- Each Fellow is assigned to an American host news orgranization for the duration of the program where he or she covers local news
- Open to journalists between the ages of 25 and 35 from developing and transitional countries
- Covers all costs of program-related travel, health insurance and provides a monthly stipend to cover basic living expenses.
American Journalism Centre
- The American Journalism Center offers unpaid internships in journalism, public relations, and marketing to conservative college students.
- Interns will mostly work in the offices of Accuracy in Media

Institute for Humane Studies
- Internships in journalism

The Middlebury Fellowships in Environmental Journalism
Middlebury Fellowships in Environmental Journalism
- Helps 10 journalists near the start of their careers work through an ambitious reporting project in print, web-based, or radio journalism. Projects should deal with the environment - can be economics, culture, global issues, and the like, as long as they center in some way on the human relationship with the physical world
- Fellows meet together with professional journalists twice during the year, once in the fall on the Middlebury campus in Vermont, and once in the spring at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California to plan their reporting and shape their stories
- Fellows receive $10,000 to help with reporting and living expenses during the fellowship year
