The Careers Alumni Network is a global database of St Andrews graduates who have volunteered to offer informal careers advice by email to current students and recent graduates. Why you should use it
St Andrews Alumni can provide you with an insight into a particular role, employer or sector and give you a realistic understanding of what a job is like. You can also find out what sorts of things you need to do to prepare for your own career.
How to use it
It's easy. Enter a search term(s) in the box below. The database contains each graduate's position/profession, employer/organisation name, city, country, subject of study and year of graduation. Typical search terms (not case sensitive) could be:
- journal - for journalists, journalism, journalist
- london - for any alumni working in london
- journal london - for journalists in london
- english - to see english graduates
- english journ london - to see english graduates, working in journalism, in London
