Presentations and drop-ins
Hosting a presentation or a drop-in is an excellent way to raise your profile at St Andrews, to give students an insight into the scope and culture of your organisation and to tell them about your graduate programmes and internships. Students value the opportunity to meet recent graduates informally, particularly St Andrews' alumni, to find out what their work is really like.
- Presentations take place during both semesters but the majority occur from October to early December and can be held at lunchtime or in the evening.
- Drop-ins tend to be during the day and can be held in the Careers Centre (refreshments can be supplied if requested), another University location or in a local coffee shop.
- We can offer advice on dates, venues (university locations and local hotels), catering, costs and publicity. We also maintain a presentation sign-up system to give an indication of numbers and we produce a Presentations Guide. Details of your presentation will appear in this handout, on our website and in our various Careers Centre publications. We can also help with publicity to specially targeted subjects.
