US Career Forum
On Thursday, January 10, 2013 the University of St Andrews, in coordination with the American Foundation, will be hosting the first ever US Career Forum. This networking event will enable current students and recent alumni to meet with employers from throughout the New York Tri-State Area. The evening should help everyone from students looking for internship or career advice to more recent alumni hoping to make professional contacts or change fields. Many of the employers in attendance will have internship and full-time employment opportunities.
Event Details:
The Forum will be held in the 2nd Floor conference center of Bank of America, One Bryant Park, New York, NY 10036 and is expected to run from 6pm to 9pm. Here is a tentative schedule:
- 6:00pm Welcome Reception
- 7:00pm Panel Discussions
- 8:00pm Networking Reception
Information about panelists and employer representatives will be available in the coming weeks so check back for more details. We anticipate the employers in attendance will be from a wide range of fields.
How to Get Involved:
Students and recent alumni who'd like to participate should fill out the Student Participant Registration Form. Spaces are limited so sign-up now. Please let us know which industries you're interested in so we can tailor this event to your needs.
Alumni, parents, and friends of St Andrews who'd like to serve as employer representatives should fill out the Employer Registration Form. We'd love to hear from anyone willing to become a career mentor or who'd like to hire St Andrews students for internship or employment opportunities.
