In addition, Ben is a member of the CAPOD team (Centre for Academic, Professional and Organisational Development), helping to deliver career skills development courses, with a focus on postgrads and postdocs in the physical sciences.


Bonnie Hacking - PhotoBonnie Hacking
Enterprise & Employability Adviser

Bonnie is responsible for:

  • Self-employment and starting your own business, for students and graduates of any subject
  • the St Andrews Award, recognising and celebrating student's development through co-curricular and work related activities
  • Enterprise and entrepreneurship education, teaching MN2112 Enterprise & Creativity in the School of Management and running a variety of extra-curricular workshops and seminars.

As part of Student Enterprise, she works closely with SIE and other support organisations, offering a range of competitions and events to encourage students and graduates to find and develop good ideas and the skills necessary to turn them into successful ventures.

Waleed's role involves

  • Information Management
  • Careers Centre IT Support
  • Design, development and maintenance of Careers website and Intranet applications
  • Preparation of statistical data for reporting
  • HESA/DLHE Data returns and Management of Graduate destinations information.

In addition to the above duties, Waleed is also working as the technical co-ordinator for AGCAS Scotland.


Pamela's PhotoPamela Small
Administrator/Employer Liaison

Pamela is the first point of contact for employers wishing to raise their profile at the University through various campus events. She has responsibility for co-ordinating the Presentation and CCD Programmes and assists the Events Manager with the annual Fairs organised by the Careers Centre.

 


Tracey's PhotoTracey Dall
Careers Information Officer

Tracey is responsible for the management and development of careers information resources. She also contributes to the content and development of the Careers Centre website and CareersWiki.


 

Linda's PhotoLinda Nicolson
Customer Services Manager

Linda's responsibilities include ensuring visitors receive a warm welcome to the Centre,  offering initial advice and information.  She looks after vacancy opportunities as well as being the Job Shop Co-ordinator, arranging local part-time jobs for students while they are studying.

 


Antonia Storey
Receptionist

Antonia's role is to welcome students to the Careers Centre and to assist them with initial enquiries and to arrange for them to meet with the Careers Advisers.  She also develops careers information resources.
