About CAPOD

CAPOD, the University’s Centre for Academic, Professional and Organisational Development has recently been formed by amalgamating the services previously offered by SALTIRE, Staff Development and GRADskills. 

Its aim is to create and promote an integrated and effective professional and academic development service to all staff and students; also to work University-wide to help create an effective structure and culture for the future. Integration of the Evening Degree Programme, IT training and strengthened links with the Careers Service will ensure a full range of development opportunities for all staff and students to help maintain the University’s place at the cutting edge of all research, learning and teaching activity.

 Included in the range of services and development opportunities CAPOD offers:
