Initial abstracts of approx 200 words should be submitted to mailSDMC@st-andrews.ac.uk by 30 April 2010. Authors will be notified of acceptance as soon as possible and are required to email a full paper to mailSDMC@st-andrews.ac.uk by 3 May 2010.

Format:

1. •Papers should provide an overview of their current research objectives, brief literature review and research method(ology).
   

2. •1st year & prospective PhD students - 2000 words
   

        2nd & 3rd year PhD students - maximum 4000 words

1. •MS Word or PDF format.
   

2. •File name should be first author’s surname.
   

3. •At the top: please include names, affiliations and contact details of authors and theme it relates to.
   

Speakers will have a time-slot of 20-30 minutes in the thematic workshops. Presentations should be approx 10-15 minutes, with time for in-depth discussion afterwards.

We are pleased to be able to offer a number of options for booking, including early bird rates. All prices include conference fees, all meals and any entertainment detailed in the programme; accommodation costs are not covered in this price.
