New BSRC research facility completed

The new BSRC research facility was completed and handed over to the University in mid-December 2011. Housing around a dozen research groups with diverse interests in disease, infection and immunity, the £13M facility contains 2400 m2 of biological labs, including a secure containment level 3 facility to enable work on new bacterial pathogens and parasites, and 600 m2 of research offices.

BSRC research group leaders located in the new building include Botting, Coote, Dong, Florence, Gloster, Liu, MacNeill, Naismith, Penedo, Schwarz-Linek, Smith, Taylor and White. See Research pages for more details.
