Ethnographic Encounters e-Journal
Ethnographic Encounters e-journal is very pleased to announce the publication of the first edition of its second series today, 24.09.12. Later this year we plan to push beyond the margins of our own conventions with our ‘sister’ publication, ‘Inspired by’, which will host experimental and ethnographically evocative content. The department is delighted to announce the arrival of Dr Sabine Hyland (from St Norbert College, Wisconsin) and Dr Stavroula Pipyrou (from University of Durham).
Recent PhD students Moises Lino e Silva, Jan Grill and Carina Hemmers are placed in excellent jobs!
The Centre for Pacific Studies wins large grant from the EU
The funds are part of a consortium bid to connect academic centres in Europe working on the Pacific, with Tony Crook leading for St Andrews.
