Prof Tristan Platt

In June 2011 Prof Tristan Platt gave two papers at the VIII International Ethnohistory Conference, held in Sucre, Bolivia. In July he participated as invited specialist in the Doctoral Seminar convened in Pisac (Cusco, Peru) by the Andean Studies Programme of the Catholic University of Peru (Lima). In August, he gave three public lectures in La Paz, Bolivia, at the University of El Alto, the new indigenous Public University of San Andres, and the Vice-Presidency of the Government of Bolivia. He was also invited to lecture at the Technical University of Oruro, Bolivia, and at the Mining University of Siglo XX (Potosí).
