'Anthrosoc', the Student's Association affiliated anthropological society, provides a forum for student-led extracurricular engagement with Anthropology. They host a number of academic seminars, debates, workshops and discussions throughout the year, as well as frequent social events for anthropology students and staff.
In the past they have welcomed a number of outside speakers to talk, including academics from other universities and former St Andrews students who have since continued to engage with anthropology.
All undergraduates and postgraduates are welcome and encouraged to get involved in Anthrosoc. Non-members are welcome at all major events. For more information on meeting times or future events please email anthsoc@st-andrews.ac.uk. Alternatively join our Facebook group for regular updates.
